HAND PREPARATION
We all know how annoying is to keep putting our tools down every time we need to take a piece of wire, but ICHIBAN solves even this problem! From the basic position take your middle finger out of the grip and stretch your fourth and small finger inside the grip.

ICHIBAN DISAPPEARS AND YOUR FINGERS ARE FREE
Now raise and open your hand moving your wrist so that ICHIBAN turns backwards to your elbow. The grip has been designed to be easily held by the fourth and small finger. Now the fingers which will put the wire are totally free.
YOU ARE NOW FREE TO PUT THE WIRE!
A very common mistake among bonsaists is to put the wire holding it like a handle; instead, it should be directed by the forefinger, keeping the wrist steady, and only the forearm will make effort. With ICHIBAN in your hands, you can take this position without wasting time to put a tool down.
NO RISK TO HURT YOURSELF
Holding ICHIBAN while you keep working on your bonsais is easy, comfortable and above all there is no risk to hurt yourself. To go back to the basic position you will only have to repeat the wrist movement, but in the opposite direction, rotating ICHIBAN towards what is in front of you.
