HOW TO CUT THE THIN WIRE
The large points of ICHIBAN allow you to cut the copper wire up to 1mm of thickness. This function is very useful both when you insert the wire and especially when you remove the wire from the bonsai.
HOW TO CUT THE MEDIUM-DIAMETER WIRE
ICHIBAN is a real wire-cutter. The combination of the carbon aluminium alloy, the rivet 4 times stronger than a standard one and the special cuts at the base of both blades enable you to cut the copper wire up to 2.5 mm of thickness.
HOW TO CUT THE LARGE WIRE
If required ICHIBAN can even cut the 3.5 mm thick copper wire, but only with the blades base between their crossing and the wire-cutter. It is important to position the wire precisely to avoid changing ICHIBAN position and, above all, damaging the rivet.
THE FINGERS POSITION CHANGES
If used properly, ICHIBAN will help you cut the wire as if it was butter. The fingers position changes: the thumb and the fourth finger stretch to best hold the grip and for the first time the effort of all the 5 fingers, and not only the thumb as before, will be needed.
AN ACCURATE PREPARATION
To be sure to cut any wire with the minimum effort we must try to do the right movements. While the left hand keeps the wire still, the right hand, very relaxed, will position ICHIBAN very carefully. The precision of this operation will become natural and spontaneous with time.
MAXIMUM RESULTS WITH MINIMUM EFFORT
When you are ready to cut, first of all push the wire towards you with your left hand and a second later push your right hand to the opposite direction holding ICHIBAN. The tool will not cut the wire, but ICHIBAN will help you to break it. So far, working on bonsais has never been so easy.
